Sencha is excellent for diabetics as it prevents increase of blood sugar levels. It prevents hemorrhages, strokes and coronary diseases.
A team of researchers from the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo found that Sencha tea contains substances from a group of catechins called: Epigallocatechin-3-Gallan (EGCG), which effectively blocks urokinase, an enzyme secreted by carcinogenic cells, without yours, they cannot get in. One cup of Sencha contains approx. 150 mg. (EGCG).
Appearance of leaves: young, narrow, pressed together, developing in water.

How to prepare:
1 teaspoon per cup
Water temperature: approx. 80° C
Brewing time: 2-3 minutes.
It can be brewed 3 times, with the 2nd and 3rd it extends the brewing time.
Storage: Store in a dry place at a temperature below 25° C, in a tightly closed container.
